The Trojan women's track and field team had another good week on the road as they traveled to Middle Tennessee.

The shot put was lead by Karen Wyatt with a throw of 12.29 meters. Nicole Studstill claimed the second place spot with a throw of 12.20 meters. Ashley Evans and Brynn Forsythe finished third in the event with a throw of 11.96 meters.
The weight throw was a sweep for the Trojans as Brynn Forsythe took the top spot with a throw of 15.59 meters. Karen Wyatt came away with second in this event with a throw of 15.56 meters. Nicole Studstill and Ashley Evans finished out the top four in this event with throws of 13.77 meters and 13.40 meters.
The runners did well today, as well, with a win from the 4x400 meter relay team with a time of 3:56.39 with a running order being Amiracle Watson, Ja-Courtney Alexander, Ariel Cavazos and Veronica Bryant.
Ja-Courtney Alexander had two top three finishes on the day, with second place in the 400-meters, 57.22, and a third place finish in the 200-meters, 24.93.
Catelyn Dake also ran in the 400-meters and placed ninth with a time of 1:01.9. Amiracle Watson claimed eighth in the 200-meters, 26.12, and Ariel Cavazos took tenth, 26.2.
“Almost everyone improved on their performance from last week and we're really proud of the way Karen Wyatt performed this week, so early in her collegiate career,” Director of Track and Field Jill Lancaster said.
