Track and Field Advances Four More to Finals on Day Two of SBC Championships

MOBILE, Ala.- Troy track and field wrapped up day two of the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships with four more athletes qualifying for Saturday's final.
Rachel Whyte ran a program record 53.08 in the women's 400m to qualify for Saturday's final with the fastest time.
Ethan Forbes ran 1:49.93 in the men's 800m to qualify for the final, also with the fastest qualifying time.
Shanyah Washington won her women's 100m heat in 11.44 and finished third overall to advance to the final, while Travis Massey finished third in the men's 100m prelims with a time of 10.39 to move on to Saturday's final.
Riley Treadaway ran a personal best 9:07.90 in the men's 3000m steeplechase to finish fourth overall and score five points on the men's side.
