Kniery is set to begin her first season as a graduate assistant with the women's soccer program, following a stellar career as a player.
2007: As a senior, Kniery served as team captain and logged over 1600 minutes while starting 20 of 20 games for Troy ... She connected for two goals on the season, including going one-for-one on penalty kicks ... The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) awarded her with its annual All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award - recognizing the student-athlete's dedication to strength training and conditioning.
2006: Started and played in all 18 games for the Trojans and was a great defensive asset.
2005: Appeared in all 15 games for the Trojans ... recieved three starts ... credited with an assist against Arkansas-Little Rock on 9/25.
2004: Did not play.
2003: Played in all 18 of the Trojans’ matches, starting eight ... recorded two goals on seven shots ... finished the season with a .429 shots on goal percentage ... also recorded one assist ... scored her first collegiate goal and tallied her lone assist on the season in the Trojans’ season-opening 6-1 win over Mississippi Valley State on Aug. 29 ... scored her second goal of the season Troy’s 9-0 win over Jackson State on Sept. 12.
Prep: Played three seasons at Roswell High School for coach Bob Rumble ... named honorable mention all-area as a senior ... received the Coach’s Award as a senior ... graduated with a 3.8 GPA ... member of the National Honor Society.
