Men’s Tennis Gears Up for Weekend Competitions

TROY, Ala. - As the season winds down, Troy men's tennis prepares to take on Tuskegee and Eastern Florida State Saturday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
Troy (19-4) is making its way into the weekend matchup with a victory against Alabama State last Thursday. The Trojans defeated the Hornets, 5-2, by coming back in singles play after losing the doubles point, winning five of six first sets.
Junior Louis Boilevin, sophomore Hiiro Sakamoto and junior Luciano Alcocer won their matches in straight sets, just as senior Yeray Andres Pastor clinched the match for Troy by winning his court.
The Trojans are on a twelve-match winning streak and are undefeated at home. Saturday's matchups will be Troy's final regular season matches before the conference tournament.
The first match is set for 1 p.m. against Tuskegee. Eastern Florida State will then compete against Troy at 3 p.m.
