Men’s Tennis Dominates Against Tuskegee and Eastern Florida State

TROY, Ala. - Troy men's tennis defeats both Tuskegee and Eastern Florida State, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.

Troy (21-4) claimed the doubles point against Tuskegee, after sophomore Thiago Drozdowski and freshman Steph Tavares Noale won on Court 1, 6-1, while senior Yeray Andres Pastor and freshman Ryusei Miyazato won on Court 3, 6-0.

The Trojans then went on to compete in the singles matches. Each court ended in straight sets wins, giving Troy the overall victory.

As Eastern Florida State stepped onto the court for the next match, Troy continued its winning momentum. The Trojans earned the advantage point by Drozdowski and Tavares Noale winning on Court 1, 6-2, and Andres Pastor and Miyazato 6-2 claiming Court 3, 6-2.

To end the match, the Trojans claimed each of their courts with straight sets wins.

After both competitions, the Trojans are on a fourteen-match winning streak and remain undefeated at home. Prior to the first match on Saturdy, Andres Pastor was honored as part of Senior Day.
