Softball Heads to Kennesaw State for Midweek Matchup

TROY, Ala. – After a series sweep against Georgia State, the Troy softball team heads to Bailey Park for a midweek matchup with Kennesaw State on March 25, at 4 p.m. The game will be aired on ESPN+.
The Trojans (20-10, 3-3 SBC) broke to .500 in league play, earning their first series sweep over a Sun Belt opponent since Georgia Southern in 2023. Meanwhile, the Owls (6-22, 2-7 C-USA) are under first-year head coach Selena Collins-Patterson with a 0-2 record against SBC teams (Louisiana, Georgia State) in 2026.
With a pair of doubles last weekend against the Panthers, Kiley Huffman continues to lead the conference and sits 14th in the nation with 12 doubles. Abby Lovell also picked up two wins in games one and three, punching out 19 batters and allowing just two runs to improve to 5-3. Her 71 strikeouts rank sixth in the SBC.
