TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Troy slipped into 10th place following Tuesday's final round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course. Lee Poppell paced the Trojans, finishing in a tie for 11th place, his fourth top 25 finish of the year.

Troy entered the day in fourth place but struggled on its final trip through the course, shooting 24-over as a team to drop six spots into 10th place. Playing as an individual, Lawton Emblom posted the Trojans' best round of the day, carding a 3-over 75 to finish in a tie for 86th place.

Poppell was the clubhouse leader heading into the third round at 6-under and leader with 11 birdies over the opening 36 holes. He only found one birdie, on the par-4 10th, on Tuesday as he shot 8-over. Poppell shot in the red in each of the first two rounds to set himself up to carry Troy's top bag for a third straight event. His 12 birdies ranked as the fourth most in the field.

Pablo Gracia and Thomas Crane followed with rounds of 77 on Tuesday to finish tied for 22nd and 66th, respectively. It was Gracia's team-leading five top 25 finish of the year, and he extended his streak to all 20 of his rounds counting on the team card.

Pierce Becker tied Crane for 66th place after an 80 on Tuesday, while Grant Yerger shot 78 and finished 102nd.

Troy travels to Memphis in two weeks for the Memphis Intercollegiate hosted at the Colonial Country Club on March 30-31.
