10/1/2026 8:46:00 AM | Tennis (M)
TROY, Ala. – Troy men's tennis is back on the road to take on the Mercer Tournament at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center starting on Friday, Oct. 2 and ending Sunday, Oct. 4.
"We're looking forward to competing," head coach Rolando Vargas said. "We've played in the tournament throughout the years, and it's always been great competition. We played teams from our conference from a different region and teams that we don't get to play all the time, so it is good to get a different look from other opponents, and it's great preparation before going to Regionals in Auburn."
Six Trojans will compete on the courts in Macon, Ga., including Louis Boilevin, Thiago Drozdowski, Gabriel Garay, Lenny Galley, Ryusei Miyazato and Til Zimmermann. Boilevin ended 14-7 overall last season, with Drozdowski finishing 14-5 and Miyazato 5-3.
This tournament will also see Garay, Galley and Zimmermann playing as Trojans for the first time in their careers.
