Men's Tennis Set for First Home Matches of Spring Season

TROY, Ala. - Troy men's tennis looks to turn things around over the next few matches as it welcomes Auburn University at Montgomery on Friday and West Alabama on Tuesday. Both of these days will consist of doubleheaders from the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
Tuesday's matches against West Alabama were previously scheduled for Sunday, with forecasted inclement weather forcing the matches to be moved two days later.
The pair of matches come after the Trojans took on Florida State and Miami in the opening week of the season. The Trojans suffered 4-0 defeats in both matches but showed resolve against top nationally ranked opponents.
Against Miami, freshman Ryusei Miyazato and Stephan Tavares Noale served as key players, with Miyazato battling for Troy, 6-4, during his second set on Court 3 and Noale winning the second set, 6-4, on Court 5.
