Troy Soccer Heads to Texas State for Sunday Night Match

TROY, Ala. - The Troy soccer team is back under the lights on Sunday night, as they're set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on the road at Texas State.
The Trojans are coming off a 1-0 loss to Southern Miss in their Sun Belt home-opener on Thursday. Troy couldn't cash in on its 21 shots and 12 shots on goal, while the Golden Eagles netted the lone goal of the match in the 65th minute.Â
Troy forward Jiselle Daniels tallied a career high of eight shots in the loss. The senior enters Sunday's match ranked 11th nationally in both goals (7) and shots per game (4.25) while ranking third in the country in shots on goal per game (2.63).
