TROY, Ala. - Jiselle Daniels scored a pair of first-half goals while Elsa Stedman headed in her second goal of the season to lead Troy to a 3-0 win over Southeastern Louisiana at the Troy Soccer Complex.

The Trojans (2-1-0) recorded 22 shots on the night, 15 of which were on target to give Troy its most shots on goal in a match since 2017. The Lions (0-2-0) tallied eight shots while Troy goalkeeper Taylor Richards saved all four of their shots on target to pick up her first career shutout.

Daniels' first goal came in the seventh minute, knocking in a deflection by SLU goalie Kendall Curran. The senior from Burlington, N.J., followed it up in the 31st minute on a breakaway, knocking it off her right foot in a 1-on-1 opportunity with Curran.

Stedman, a 5'10" midfielder, put her height to good use in the 65th minute, heading in a Hailey Phillips corner kick. Both of Stedman's goals this season have come via the corner kick, as she knocked in a Megan Hamm corner against Alcorn State on Sunday.

Troy scored three goals in back-to-back matches for the first time since 2019 when the Trojans defeated Georgia State 3-0 before a 7-1 win over ULM.
Troy's 15 shots on goal were its most in a match since recording 28 shots on goal in a 9-0 win against Jackson State in 2017.
Troy's 22 shots were its most in a match since recording 27 shots in a 4-1 win over Alabama State in 2023.
Jiselle Daniels scored two goals for the second consecutive match. She's the first Trojan with back-to-back multi-goal games since Jill Pinder recorded back-to-back hat tricks against Nicholls and Jacksonville State in 2008.
Daniels is also the first Trojan since Alissa Jones in 2014 with two multi-goal games in a season.
Elsa Stedman headed in her second goal of the season and third goal of her career.
Daniels set a new career high in shots on goal (4).
Embla Gunnarsdottir recorded the first two shots on goal of her career.
Hailey Phillips tied her career high in shots on goal (2).
Phillips recorded her first assist of the season and second of her career on a corner kick to Stedman.
Taylor Richards recorded her first career shutout, saving all four of SLU's shots on goal.
