Troy Soccer Hosts Southeastern Louisiana, Spring Hill in Two-Game Homestand

TROY, Ala. - The 2025-26 athletic year will officially kick off on campus this weekend as Troy Soccer hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Friday and Spring Hill on Sunday following a two-game road trip to open the season.

The Trojans responded to a 2-0 loss at Murray State in the season opener with a 3-1 win at Alcorn State on Sunday. Senior Jiselle Daniels scored twice in the victory, marking the first multi-goal game of her career, while East Carolina transfer Elsa Stedman headed in Troy's first goal of the match for her first points as a Trojan.

Sophomore Megan Hamm has been a focal point for the Troy offense early on after suffering a season-ending injury two games into her freshman campaign. Mamm leads the team in shots (4) through two matches while picking up her first career assist on a corner kick to Stedman against Alcorn State.

In net, Auburn transfer Taylor Richards has started Troy's first two matches, recording her first career victory against Alcorn State. The junior from Plano, Texas, racked up six saves in the match at Murray State, setting a new career high.

Southeastern Louisiana opened its 2025 season with another Sun Belt opponent in a 4-0 loss to ULM. The Lions were outshot 8-1 by the Warhawks, while ULM connected on all four of its shots on goal.

Sunday's match will be the season opener for Spring Hill. The Badgers finished 2024 with a 7-8-3 record, scoring 1.50 goals per game.
