TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer begins its 2025 campaign with a two-game road trip this week, opening the season at Murray State on Thursday before heading to Alcorn State on Sunday.

Led by head coach Stuart Gore, the Trojans finished 2024 with a 5-9-3 overall record in his second season at the helm. Troy returns three of its top six scores in sophomore Hailey Phillips (2 G, 1 A), sophomore Georgia Mulholland (2 G) and junior Danielle Trovato (4 A), while the Trojans' leading scorer in 2024, Delaney Wells, now serves as an assistant coach.

The Trojans added eight freshmen to the outfield, while former East Carolina midfielder Elsa Stedman and former Bowling Green forward Alaina Uncapher bring experience through the transfer portal.

In net, senior Nittany Vega returns after recording back-to-back shutouts against Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State to close out the 2024 season. Troy also added Auburn transfer Taylor Richards and freshman Keely Cash to the goalkeeper room.
