TROY, Ala. - Troy Soccer makes its final road trip of the season this weekend as it's set for a matchup with ULM in Monroe, La., on Sunday.
The Trojans are coming off a 2-0 loss at Georgia State last Sunday, which saw freshman Keely Cash make her first collegiate start. The Panthers netted two goals in the first 17 minutes of action before Cash found her footing and finished with five saves.
Freshmen have been leading the way for Troy offensively in the absence of senior Jiselle Daniels due to injury, with Isabella Hartofelis, Megan Hamm, Melanie Oldner, Hayden Barnett, and Embla Gunnarsdottir all playing significant minutes for the Trojans. Hartofelis scored her first career goal against Georgia Southern, while Hamm and Barnett did so against Old Dominion.
ULM enters the matchup unbeaten in Sun Belt action at 4-0-3 and boasts one of the league's top offenses at 1.93 goals per game. Senior Skylar Blaise is at the forefront of the Warhawks' offense, having scored ten goals on the season, which is tied for the Sun Belt lead.
