Troy Soccer Falls to ULM in Final Road Trip

MONROE, La.Β - Troy Soccer fell 3-0 to ULM in their final road game of the season on Sunday.
The Trojans (5-7-3, 0-5-3 SBC) totaled five shots and three shots on goal, while the Warhawks (10-2-3, 5-0-3 SBC) fired off 23 shots and nine shots on target.
ULM struck first in the 33rd minute with a goal by Skylar Blaise, while Libby Holmes scored in the 40th minute to give the Warhawks a 2-0 halftime lead. Holmes found the back of the net again in the 86th minute to close out the scoring.
For the Trojans, Hailey Phillips, Megan Hamm and Embla Gunnarsdottir each registered a shot on goal while freshman Keely Cash made a career best six saves.

"I have to hand it to the team today. We had a 16-hour bus trip and arrived at 3 a.m. this morning. They came out and gave everything they could. Now we have two home games to finish, so at least we won't have to deal with traffic problems."
