TROY, Ala. - Troy Soccer is back in action on Thursday night as the Trojans make their first-ever trip to Norfolk, Va., for a Sun Belt Conference match at Old Dominion.

The Trojans are coming off a scoreless draw at home against James Madison on Saturday, a match in which the Troy back line of Brooke Slater, Grace DeShetler, and Izzy Skinner held the Sun Belt's leading scorer, Ginny Lackey, without a shot on target.

In the match, Troy's offense recorded just one shot, but a career-best nine saves by goalkeeper Taylor Richards helped the Trojans hold onto the shutout. Richards earned her second Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week honor for her performance and now leads the conference in save percentage (.861), ranking 19th nationally.

Old Dominion enters the match at the top of the standings in the Sun Belt East with a 2-0-2 conference record and is coming off a 7-1 win over Southern Miss over the weekend. Midfielder Riley Mullen leads the team with four goals on the season, while goalkeeper Ellie Goodrich leads the Sun Belt with a 0.40 goals against average in her five starts.
