Troy Soccer Hits the Road to Face Southern Miss

TROY, Ala. – Troy soccer returns to action on Sunday as they're set to take on Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The Trojans are coming off a 4-1 loss to South Alabama last weekend. In the match, Dolce Villaflor scored the Trojans lone goal on a double-assist from Brooke Slater and Olivia Simpson. Villaflor has scored in back-to-back matches and has Troy's only two goals in Sun Belt play this season.
Southern Miss has been a feisty opponent since Sun Belt play began. The Golden Eagles are tied for the most draws in the conference with four and own an 0-2-4 conference record.
Kickoff on Sunday is slated for 1 p.m. CT and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
