TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golf continues its busy start to the spring with a trip to John's Creek, Ga., and the par-72, 6,170-yard Rivermont Golf Club. Teams are set to play 36 holes on Monday and finish the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday.
Troy, which opened the spring with three solid results, is looking to bounce back from a disappointing finish its last time on the course, where it finished 11th last week in Gulf Shores.
Elisabeth Preus has led the Trojans in the last two events tying for fifth at The Atlantic and tying for 23rd at last week's Bama Beach Bash. She has a 74.83 average through nine spring rounds and a 3.78 score vs. par for the season.
ShaeLee Scarberry leads the Trojans with a 1.54 score vs. par for the season and a 72.92 stroke average. Laura Fangmeyer joins Scarberry atop Troy's leaderboard with six rounds under-par on the year, while Bruna Roqueta returns to the lineup with one round in the red this year. Katelynn Altese, who had a hole-in-one in her last tournament, is back in head coach Randy Keck's lineup this week as well.
