Troy Hits the Road This Spring / Summer for Ten-Stop Trojan Tour

TROY, Ala. – The 11th annual Trojan Tour hits the road this spring and summer with 10 stops across Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, Director of Athletics Brent Jones announced Thursday. Trojan Tour '23 kicks off in Troy with a BBQ in Tailgate Terrace prior to the Troy vs. Southern Miss baseball game on April 1.
"Trojan Tour is one of our favorite events of the year as we are able to get out on the road and visit our tremendous fans," Jones said. "Our staff and coaches always look forward to this opportunity to visit with our fans. We have a great lineup again this year, and we cannot wait to get back out on the road to share about the incredible experiences and accomplishments our teams have achieved this past year."
Trojan Tour opens with music, inflatables and a BBQ lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Tailgate Terrace on Saturday, April 1, prior to game two of a key Sun Belt Conference baseball series against Southern Miss.
The kickoff event to Trojan Tour is one of three that will be held in conjunction with a baseball game, as Troy Athletics will visit Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium twice during the tour. The tour will visit Montgomery on Tuesday, May 9thprior to the Trojans' baseball showdown against Alabama and will also return to Riverwalk Stadium at the end of the tour on Friday, August 25, for a Montgomery Biscuits game. Additionally, Trojan Tour will make stops in Enterprise, Phenix City, Dothan, Birmingham, Huntsville, Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach.
Admission to all Trojan Tour socials is free; however, the baseball games in Montgomery will require a game ticket to be purchased, and some locations will require separate food purchases.
Various Troy coaches and administrators, including Director of Athletics Brent Jones, football head coach Jon Sumrall, men's basketball head coach Scott Cross and women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby will be featured across Trojan Tour.
