Eighteen Troy Student-Athletes Participate in Fall Commencement

TROY, Ala. – Troy student-athletes represented 18 of the nearly 725 students who participated in Troy's fall commencement ceremonies on Friday in Trojan Arena.
Troy's football program led the way with 12 players earning degrees this semester, followed by two from baseball, two from track & field and one from both women's golf and soccer.
They keynote address was provided by Bill Carr, the founder of one the nation's leading accounting firms and for whom Troy University's School of Accountancy is named.
As the founder and former managing partner, William H. "Bill" Carr has led the Alabama-born Carr, Riggs & Ingram to become one of the fastest-growing accounting and advisory firms in the nation, experiencing consistent year-over-year growth since its inception in 1997.
In 2022, TROY's Sorrell College of Business and the University honored him by renaming the now- William H. Carr School of Accountancy.
