Time to Bounce Back
The Trojans struggled in the paint on Saturday, as they had no answer for Dayton's DaRon Holmes II, who had 23 points and 17 rebounds. For only the second time this season, Troy lost the rebounding battle, as the Flyers pulled down 37 rebounds compared to Troy's 29.
Despite this Troy is still averaging 41.89 rebounds per game, which is third in the Sun Belt Conference and 27th nationally.
Dayton had its way from beyond the arc, going 10-20 from 3-point range, something the Trojans will look to fix heading into Tuesday's game.
