Troy Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Season at Stetson Invite

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's tennis team closes out its 2023 fall season at the Stetson Invitational at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand, Fla. The event gets underway Friday morning and will go through Sunday.
The Trojans are coming off a successful weekend at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic on the campus of Alabama last week. Gabrielle Leslie led the way with a perfect singles record, which resulted in her winning the Danielle Spielmann Singles Draw.
The Stetson Invitational is the fourth fall event the Trojans will compete in this fall and heading into the event the Trojans have played 60 singles matches and 28 doubles matches.
Troy has posted a 30-30 singles record and is being led by Leslie with a 6-3 record. In doubles, the Trojans are 12-16 with Valeriia Avdeeva and Olivia Elliott leading the team with four wins.
Troy will compete against Stetson on Friday morning, FAMU/Bethune-Cookman on Saturday afternoon and will wrap up play against Kennesaw State on Sunday.
