Troy Soccer Hosts South Alabama for Sunday Afternoon Contest

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's soccer team hosts South Alabama on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT at the Troy Soccer Complex.
Troy (5-7-1, 0-4-1 SBC) is coming off a 2-1 loss at Arkansas State on Thursday afternoon. South Alabama (10-0-3, 3-0-2 SBC) beat App State 3-1 on Thursday night.
The Numbers
Carley White opened the scoring for the Trojans in the 26th minute at Arkansas State for her second goal of the season, but Troy surrendered the go-ahead goal in the 64th minute.
The Trojans are on a seven-match winless streak but have yet to allow more than two goals in any of those matches. In six of those seven games, the Trojans have fallen by just one goal – exception: 1-1 draw at Texas State.
The Trojan goalkeepers are allowing 1.25 goals per game on a .732 save percentage. Three goalkeepers have gotten starts this season (Rubie Kelley, Une Hebnes Georgsen, Stephenie Pereff) and have made 45 saves and posted four shutouts.
Gabrielle Chartier – a senior from Montreal, Canada – has scored all five of her collegiate goals this season. She leads the team in goals (5) and points with 11 (15 in her career).

The Trojans are 8-13-1 all-time against South Alabama, with Troy losing the last matchup 5-0 on Sept. 22, 2022, in Mobile, Ala.
Troy looks for its first win against South Alabama since 2019 when they defeated the Jaguars 2-0. The four-match losing streak is the longest in program history against South Alabama. This is the first time the two teams have played in Troy since 2020.
The Jaguars are led by Gabby Hollar and Chiara Singarella with 19 points each. Hollar has eight goals and five assists, and Singarella has seven goals and five assists.
