Troy Women’s Tennis Heads to the Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's tennis team continues its fall season, this time heading to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to participate in the Roberta Allison Fall Classic at the Baumgardner Tennis Facility on the campus of Alabama.

The two-day tournament gets underway at 9 a.m. CT on Friday morning. The Trojans will compete against players from 14 teams including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, LSU, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Samford, South Alabama, Troy, Tulane, Wisconsin and UAB.

The Trojans will be spread across nine single draws and four doubles draws.

Live results will be available through ITA Tennis and fans can watch select matches through Track Tennis.

Play will also begin at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday.

Friday:

9:00 am - Round 1 of Doubles
10:15 am - 1^st Wave for Round 1 of Singles
Not before 11:30 am - 2^nd Wave for Round 1 of Singles
2 pm - 1^st Wave for Round 2 of Singles
Not before 3:30 pm - 2^nd Wave for Round 2 of Singles

Saturday:

9:00 am - Round 2 of Doubles
Not before 10:15 am - Round 3 of Doubles
12:00 pm - 1^st Wave for Round 3 of Singles
Not before 1:30 pm - 2^nd Wave for Round 3 of Singles

Format:
Doubles:

6 Game Pro set, no ad scoring (tiebreaker at 6-6)

Singles:

2 out of 3 sets, no ad scoring.
Back draw matches will play a super tiebreak instead of a 3^rd set
