MONROE, La. – The Troy women's soccer team was defeated by ULM, 3-0, on Thursday night at Brown Stadium.

Troy (5-9-2, 0-6-2 SBC) failed to get much going offensively and had a rough go of it defensively in the first half, as they gave up all three Warhawks goals in the first 45 minutes.

ULM (9-2-5, 4-1-3 SBC) opened scoring in the 12^th minute off a goal from Mara Grutkamp. Just two minutes later, the Warhawks added another goal, as Eve Blakey put ULM up by two. Lucia Lobato picked up the assist on the score.

The Warhawks added their third and final goal of the game in the 30^th minute off the foot of Emelie Kobler, with Grutkamp grabbing the assist.

Une Hebnes Georgsen got the start in goal for the Trojans and played the first 45 minutes of the game, making two saves on five shots. Rubie Kelley played the second 45 minutes of the match, and saved all four shots she faced.

Kelley and Georgsen have been splitting goalkeeping responsibilities in three of the last four games – with the lone exception being last Saturday when Kelley played all 90 minutes against Coastal Carolina.

The Trojans put together a strong defensive second half, but still did not find the back of the net. As an offense, Troy registered just four shots all night – with only two of those coming on goal.

Dolce Villaflor picked up a yellow card in the 74^th minute. ULM picked up two yellow cards on the night.
