Troy Softball Set to Host Georgia State

TROY, Ala. – The Troy Softball team will host Georgia State in a three-game series starting Friday at the Troy Softball Complex. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
The Trojans (20-9, 6-3 Sun Belt) are hot off a third consecutive Sun Belt series win after downing Georgia Southern in two of three games last weekend.
Anslee Finch boasted an impressive weekend, batting .556 with six RBIs on the week. The sophomore recorded five RBIs on Friday and went 3-for-3 at the plate Saturday.
Leanna Johnson continues to lead the way in the circle with a 1.63 ERA over 111.1 innings of work. The junior has fanned 164 batters, the fifth-best mark in the nation.

Junior Bailee Richardson continues to lead Georgia State with a .353 batting average to go along with nine home runs, 22 RBI per game, and a .735 slugging percentage. She leads the Sun Belt in home runs and RBI per game.
In the circle, Emily Buck leads the way with a 3.06 ERA over 50.1 innings of work.
