ZOOperstars, United in Cardinal Highlight Women’s Basketball Saturday Promotions

TROY, Ala. – For the second straight weekend, Trojan Arena will host a big in-state rivalry matchup as the Troy women's basketball team plays host to South Alabama. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m., and the world-famous ZOOperstars will be in attendance with performances throughout the game.

Troy enters the week tied for second place in the Sun Belt Conference standings, just percentage points out of first place.

ZOOperstars
The wacky fan favorites will perform at halftime and during a timeout during the game between the Trojans and Jaguars.

Featuring the likes of Donovan McCrabb, Squidney Crosby, Shark McGwire, Tim Tebull, Monkey Mantle, and Harry Canary, the ZOOperstars characters will take to the court for dance routines and comedy sketches.

Take a Kid to the Game / Kids Court
• Kids ages 12 and under will receive a free general admission ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket by visiting the Trojan Arena box office on gameday.

• The Troy Kids Court returns to the practice gym inside Trojan Arena. Kids of all ages can come enjoy free games and inflatables before the game.

United in Cardinal
• All fans are asked to wear their favorite Cardinal gear to Saturday's game. Additionally, the first 500 Troy University students in attendance will receive a free Cardinal t-shirt and the first 1,500 will receive a free Cardinal shaker.

Student Promotions
• Troy students can receive up to two complimentary student guest tickets by visiting the ticket office in the Tine Davis Fieldhouse or by calling 670-3681.

• This game will serve as a bonus game for the Greek Life Challenge; all members in attendance will earn bonus points for their chapters.

Specialty Food Item
• The concession stands will have a donut bacon cheeseburger on sale during the game.

Fan Day / Basketball Combo
Fans who attend Troy's Baseball & Softball Fan Day on Saturday at Riddle-Pace Field beginning at 11 a.m. will receive a free ticket to the women's basketball game.
