Preview: Soccer Returns Home to Host Jacksonville State

TROY, Ala. – After being on the road for a pair of contests last week, Troy Soccer returns to its home turf Thursday to host Jacksonville State for an old-fashioned rivalry game. Kick off from the Troy Soccer Complex is set for 7 p.m.

Thursday's matchup will be a white out, and the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a Troy rally towel.

Erin Bloomfield continues to lead the Trojan attack with five goals this season. The freshman has scored all but one of Troy's goals this season.

After starting off the season with a pair of wins, the Trojans look to stop a three-game losing skid.
Thursday's contest will be Troy's lone home contest before embarking on another three-game road swing.

Kate Eubanks missed the last game against FAU after receiving a pair of yellow cards against Jackson State, snapping a 46-games started streak. Eubanks is expected to return to the lineup Thursday.
Troy and Jacksonville State are known for going toe-to-toe. The last four matches have been decided by one goal or less, with a pair of draws.
At home, the Trojans are on a five-game win streak against the Gamecocks, dating back to Sept. 18, 2011.
