Soccer Adds Eight in Wyman’s First Freshman Signing Class

TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer head coach Jake Wyman unveiled the program's 2026 freshman signing class on Tuesday. The eight-player class marks Wyman's first recruiting class since taking over as head coach in December.
"Our staff is excited to welcome our first true freshman recruiting class", said Wyman. "This group brings a wealth of quality and we expect them to be impactful from day one. We feel strongly about the eight people, and how well their character aligns with Troy and the direction we have envisioned for Troy soccer."
Aiden Bailey | Midfielder | Fort Worth, Texas | Arlington Heights High School
Bailey comes to Troy following a standout high school career at Arlington Heights High School, where she scored a program-record 107 goals. A four-time all-district first-team selection, Bailey earned district MVP honors as both a sophomore and senior, while also being named Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and Utility Player of the Year during her junior season. Additionally, she received Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Second Team honors as a sophomore.
Bailey was a key part of the Yellowjackets team that won its district championship twice, finishing her career with a 32-2 district record while the team allowed just three goals across four years.
Isla Boyle | Midfielder/Forward | North Vancouver, British Columbia | Seycove High School
A native of North Vancouver, Boyle attended Seycove High School, where she competed in soccer, basketball and baseball. She played club soccer for Burnaby FC in the BCSPL, the highest level of community competition in Vancouver.
Boyle was also part of the Whitecaps FC Pre-Regional Excel training program.
Braelyn Carey | Winger | Lakewood, Washington | Lakes High School
Carey, a winger from Lakewood, Wash., totaled 72 goals and 165 assists during her high school career.
She was twice named PSL MVP and earned Player of the Match honors on 21 occasions. Carey was also named Athlete of the Year by the Tacoma Athletic Commission.
Emerson Clarke | Midfielder/Forward | Knoxville, Tennessee | Webb School of Knoxville
Clarke comes to Troy fresh off back-to-back Tennessee state championship appearances. Throughout her high school career, Clarke was named to the District 11-AA All-State and All-Region teams.
Hannah Kent | Defender | Scarborough, Ontario | Saltfleet District High School
A native of Ontario, Canada, Kent competed in soccer, field hockey and track and field at Saltfleet High School while playing her club soccer for Hamilton United.
Brooke Ogorek | Midfielder | Lexington, S.C. | River Bluff High School
Ogorek played in 81 games over her high school career at River Bluff, compiling 78 points with 25 goals. Helping her team put together four winning seasons, Ogorek earned numerous accolades during her senior season, including all-state honors.
Mallorie Springs | Forward | Gallatin, Tennessee | Station Camp High School
A native of Gallatin, Tenn., Springs played her club soccer with Tennessee Soccer Club 08. At Station Camp High School, Springs competed in track and field, finishing as a regional and sectional champion in the 4x100m and 4x200m relays while qualifying for the state meet in multiple sprint and relay events.
Irene Torres | Midfielder/Forward | Montclair, California | Montclair High School
A two-time offensive player of the year and MVP at Montclair High School, Torres comes to Troy following a 32-point senior season in which she scored 16 goals.
Torres helped Montclair to three-straight Mt. Baldy League Championships and earned first-team all-league honors in each season. She played her club soccer with Slammers FC.
