Men's Golf Set for Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate

TROY, Ala. – Coming off its best performance of the season, the Troy men's golf team heads to Estero, Fla., and the Old Corkscrew Golf Club for the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. This is the Trojans' final event before the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
The Trojans finished third at the National Intercollegiate two weeks ago behind Brent Hamm's individual title, Troy's first since 2012. Hamm shot 12-under par and was named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after ending the tournament with a 7-under 65.
Hamm leads Troy with a 73.04 stroke average and 1.04 score vs. par for the year, while his eight rounds under par, four rounds in the 60s and 95.0 percent of rounds counting towards the team card all lead the Trojans as well.
Will McFadden will be making his ninth appearance of the season and ranks right behind Hamm with seven rounds in the red and with a 74.04 stroke average. McFadden has five top-25 finishes this year with 85 percent of his rounds counting towards the team card.
Ryan Morrison is back in the lineup after just missing out on a top-25 performance at the National Intercollegiate with a 6-over 222. He enters the 7,393-yard Corkscrew Intercollegiate with a 76.29 stroke average, while Nicklas Borrmann is third on the team with a 76.29 average. Reagan Harrell is set for his six appearance of the year (78.15) and George Burch (77.65) will play as an individual.
