TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Leanna Johnson flashed her dominance in the circle, fanning a season-high 15 batters to power the Trojans past Memphis, 6-2, before Troy used a late rally to sweep the doubleheader, 6-1, Saturday at Rhoads Stadium.

Leanna Johnson (7-1) told the same tale but on a new day, tossing a one-hitter en route to her seventh victory of the season.
The sophomore struck out four of the first six batters she faced to hang a pair of zeros in the first two frames.
Troy's offense came to life in the top of the third inning. Jade Sinness led off with a double to right-center field before Candela Figueroa executed a beautiful sacrifice bunt to move Sinness to third.
Katie Webb followed and smashed an RBI double to left field to plate the first run of the contest.
Cleanup hitter Kelly Horne drew a walk to put a pair of runners on. After a ground out, freshman Anslee Finch waltzed into batter's box and blasted a two-out, three-run homer to cap off a four-run frame for the Trojans.
Veteran Webb stayed hot at the plate in the top of the fourth, roping a single to left that scored Ashlan Ard, who led off with a walk.
A pair of singles by Katie Lively and Finch plated another run for the good guys in top of the fifth.
Memphis (0-8) finally broke its scoreless streak in the bottom of the fifth when a pair of walks set up Meagan Chism for a two-RBI double.
Johnson returned to the circle after the Trojans stranded a runner in the top of the sixth and struck out the side to send the game into the final frame.
The Tigers threatened with two runners in scoring position after a pair of walks and a passed ball. However, the Brantley, Ala. native, showed her composure and confidence, sitting down three consecutive batters to secure the victory.
Hallie Siems (0-2) suffered the loss for Memphis allowing two runs off a pair of hits and three walks.
