Trojans Set For Rematch With South Alabama On Saturday

TROY, Ala. –The Trojans make the 171-mile drive to South Alabama Saturday as they get set to take on the Jaguars on November 6 at 6 pm from Jaguar Gym. The Trojans are currently riding a four-game win streak heading into the weekend.
This will be the second and final regular-season meeting between the two teams as the Jaguars defeated the Trojans back at Trojan Arena on October 19 in straight sets.
"As we head into the final weeks of the regular season every team is fighting for seeding in the conference tournament," head coach Josh Lauer said. "This is a big match for both teams, for seeding purposes, for bragging rights and for continued momentum here at the end of the regular season.

Her 939 total assists sit at 14th in the nation.
- Julia Brooks has a .305 hitting percentage which puts her sixth among all players in the Sun Belt. Her 3.27 kills per set ranks fifth to go along 3.90 points per set, good enough for fourth among all players in the SBC. She had a career-high 24 kills in the win against Georgia Southern.
- Alison Siersma ranks second in the Sun Belt with .45 aces per set
- Cheyenne Hayes became the Trojan's all-time leader in kills in the rally-scoring era during Troy's 3-1 match win over Chattanooga earlier in the season, passing Meghan Gilroy.
- Hayes now has 1602 kills in her career, which puts her second all-time. Hayes is 42 kills away from being the all-time leader in Trojan history. Earlier in the year, Cheyenne Hayes became the fifth Trojan in program history to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in her career. In addition, Hayes is the third Trojan ever to surpass 1500 kills in their career.
