TROY, Ala. - The Troy men's and women's cross country squads are set to close out the season at the NCAA South Regional at the John Hunt Cross Country Park hosted by North Alabama.

After a two-week break following the Sun Belt Conference Championships, the team will travel to Florence, Ala. for the women's 6K trek and the men's 10K race.

Last time out at the league championships, Cadi Rowe paced the Trojans with a 26th-place finish in the 5k trek with a time of 18:51.6. Tanner Guest and Teanna Cason rounded out Troy's top three-finishes, placing 29th and 34th respectively.

The women tallied 179 points, good for a seventh-place finish.

On the men's side, Mason Bennett led the way with a 39th-place finish in the 8k race with a time of 26:50.9 while James Brake finished just a spot behind Bennett in 26:55.4. Blake Vaughn rounded out the Trojans' top-three finishes with a 42nd-place finish in 27:13.7.

The men earned 234 points en route to an eighth-place finish.
