Troy Cross Country Closes Season at NCAA South Regional

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's cross country team finished their 2021 season with a 23rd and 28^th place finish, respectively, Friday at the John Hunt Cross Country Park.

On the men's side, Mason Bennett and Blake Vaughn paced the Trojans, finish at 137^th and 138^th. The duo finished just eight seconds apart from each other in 33:51.83 and 34:00.28, respectively. James Brake rounded out the Trojans top-three finishers, placing 14^th with a time of 34:46.14.

The men posted a 23^rd-place finish after posting 682 points.

Tanner Guest led the women in a 6K trek with a 147^th-place finish in 23:04.40. Tanner Guest and Cadi Rowe rounded out Troy's top-three finishes, placing 154^th and 158^th.

The women tallied 768 points en route to a 28^th place finish.
