Preview: Troy Soccer Set for Senior Night Against Arkansas State

TROY, Ala. – The Troy Soccer team will square off against Arkansas State in their final home match of the season Friday night at the Troy Soccer Complex. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Trojans will honor seniors Alisa Detlefsen, Britt Ellmore, Kate Eubanks, KK Pawelczyk and manager Logan Smith prior to the match.

Notable

The Trojans added two new goal scorers over the weekend in Kate Eubanks and Jordan Stack. Prior to Sunday's match, all but two of Troy's goals had been scored by Erin Bloomfield or Ella Owen. The Trojans now have six goal scorers on the year: Eubanks, Stack, Bloomfield, Terrell and Wilson.
The Trojans have put up a hard-fought battle in every match this season. All but two match has been decided by two or fewer goals. The Trojans downed Alabama AM 3-0 but fell to South Alabama 0-4.
Troy has remained tough to beat at home. The Trojans have only fallen in two home matches all season, one of which was to nationally-ranked Auburn.
Freshman Gabrielle Chartier saw a 13-match started streak snapped on Sunday. Chartier was the only Trojan to start every match prior to then.
Erin Bloomfield continues to lead the Trojan attack with seven goals this season. The freshman has scored half of Troy's goals this season.
Troy is 7-6-1 all time against Arkansas State; however, the Trojans have lost or tied the last four matches.
