Troy Returns Home for In-State Showdown with North Alabama

TROY, Alabama – Troy kicks off an eight-game home stand with a midweek in-state matchup against North Alabama Wednesday afternoon at the Troy Softball Complex. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.

Troy is returning home after sweeping the series against Coastal Carolina last weekend.

Stephanie Snyder finished the week batting .500 with five walks, a double and three RBIs while Kaylee Hussey added six RBIs to her resume after hitting three doubles and a home run.

Leanna Johnson (13-5) continues to dominate in the circle after pitching a Friday afternoon shut out against Coastal Carolina. Johnson comes into this week's matchup ranked 14^th nationally with 131 strikeouts and 12^th nationally in victories with 13.

Scouting North Alabama
The Lions come into the game 15-9 overall after losing two of three game against North Florida.

Veronica Westfall leads the offensive efforts batting a .388 with two doubles, a triple, and 11 RBIs while Megan Garst (8-3) controls the circle for North Alabama with a 1.01 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 69 innings of work.
