Troy Welcomes Georgia Tech

TROY, Alabama – The Trojans welcome Georgia Tech for a midweek tilt at the Troy Softball Complex Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m. This will be Troy's seventh matchup against a Power Five Conference team.

Troy is looking to bounce back after a tough week in Louisiana where Troy fell to No. 8 LSU and No. 10 Louisiana in Troy's first road conference series.

Katie Webb is leading the offensive efforts for Troy batting .374 with five doubles and a triple. Webb currently sits at third in the conference with 34 hits. Webb has held this spot for three consecutive weeks. Bailey Taylor continues to stay high in conference rankings sitting at second in RBIs with 26.

Annie Willis leads in the circle with a 2.67 ERA over 63 innings of work. Leanna Johnson comes in just behind her with a 2.80 ERA over 100 innings of work. Johnson sits at 15^th in the nation in strikeouts with 117.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
Georgia Tech comes into the contest 18-12 overall. The Yellow Jackets' offense is led by Breanna Roper who is batting a .457 with 11 doubles, two home runs, and 23 RBIs.

Morgan Bruce is dominating time in the circle with a 2.89 ERA over 92 innings of work. Bruce has tallied up 94 strikeouts.

Tomorrow afternoon's game will be a WHITE OUT game as well as Troy's Student Appreciation game. The first 100 fans will receive a white t-shirt to wear for the game. Prizes will be given out throughout the game including a Yeti Cooler.
