Men's Golf Looks to Bounce Back at Seminole Intercollegiate

TROY, Alabama – The Troy men's golf team returns to the state of Florida for the second time in a week as the Trojans play in the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Golden Eagle Country Club in Tallahassee this weekend.
The 16-team field will play 36 holes on Saturday and will finish the two-day event with 18 holes on Sunday.
Troy opened the spring season this past weekend at the SunTrust Gator Invitational and placed 16th. Dean Martin and Ike Alexander led the Trojans shooting 13 and 14-over, respectively.
Calum Masters leads the Trojans with a 74.67 stroke average and +3.07 score vs. par on the season, while freshman Connor Futrell is close behind with a +3.33 score vs. par; Futrell, a Tallahassee native, will make his spring debut this weekend on his home course.
Martin enters the Seminole Intercollegiate with a 75.67 stroke average on the season, while Jake Tiffin will be making his fourth appearance of the season with a 76.89 stroke average and Alexander carries a 75.60 average into the weekend.

West Virginia, Southern Illinois, James Madison, Illinois State, Western Kentucky, Winthrop, Western Carolina, Nicholls State, Kansas State, Florida State, Cincinnati, Arkansas State, Troy and Jacksonville
T-Time
Teams will play a shotgun start beginning at 7 a.m. (CT) on Saturday with each team playing together for the first two rounds.
