TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The doubles duo of Maria Casas Blas and Pei Ju Hsieh combined to win a pair of matches to advance to the Flight E finals as Troy competed in the Florida State All-Conference Showdown on Friday.

Hsieh, competing for the first time this season, and Casas Blas defeated Mary Hunter Hyche and Paiton Wagner of Oregon before knocking off West Virginia's Abigail Rosiello and Kirsten White in the semifinals.

In singles action, Casas Blas advanced in Flight J with a win over McNeese's Charlotte Ziegler, while Celia Montero Estevan defeated Rosillo, 6-1, 7-6 (7-1).

Play will continue tomorrow at 8 a.m. (CT) with one double round and one singles round.
