JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Troy finished on a 15-0 run to pull away from East Tennessee State, 84-66, on Monday in Brooks Gym.

Troy (3-1) got off to a sluggish start, but quickly turned it around. After falling behind, 7-2, the Trojans hit four consecutive 3-pointers – two by Johnson – to spark a 15-2 run.
With Troy leading by eight, 23-15, ETSU (0-4) made its comeback. Baskets from Sadasia Tipps and Kaia Upton led the Bucs to six straight points to close the gap to two.
