Trojans Travel to Take on LA Tech

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team will play its fourth consecutive game away from home as the squad travels to Ruston to face off against Louisiana Tech on Friday at 7 p.m.

In the Jaguar Classic last weekend, the Trojans (2-4-1) drew against Jacksonville State before falling to Alabama. Troy plays one final non-conference game at Florida State on Tuesday prior to opening Sun Belt Conference play against ULM on Sept. 15.

LA Tech (4-1-1) hopes to carry over its stellar play on the road – four victories and one draw – to its home pitch. The undefeated road season continued this past Sunday with a 2-0 win over ULM in Monroe.
After some halftime adjustments, striker Jenna Dages delivered what would be the game-winning goal in the 48th minute. It was the sophomore's second score of the season.
Fellow striker Mylene Roy-Ouellet recorded an insurance goal in the 69th minute. The junior now leads the team with three goals. (LaTechSports.com).
