Trojans Take On No. 7 Florida

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team looks to rebound from a disappointing loss on Friday with a matchup against No. 7 Florida on Sunday. Kickoff is set for noon (CT) and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
The Trojans (0-1) fell 1-0 to Mercer on Friday after the Bears scored in the 84th minute, while the Gators (1-0) knocked off Florida Atlantic 1-0 in overtime. Troy and Florida have never met on the soccer field.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Ninety minutes was not enough for Florida soccer's season opening match. Extra minutes were needed for the Gator soccer season opener as Florida took a 1-0 overtime win at Florida Atlantic Friday evening at the FAU Stadium.
The Gators outshot the Owls 14-2, but it wasn't until midway through the first overtime Florida got one past FAU goalkeeper Jennifer Ocampo. Freshman Deanne Rosewas fouled in the box, awarding the Gators a penalty kick.
