Outdoor Faces Off With South Alabama

Meet Information
TROY, Alabama – Troy outdoor track and field will head to Mobile for the South Alabama Invitational Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
After splitting the squad to take on two separate meets last weekend, the Trojans will reunite and take to the track attempting to continue the success that has been present in previous meets.
ATHLETES TO WATCH
The competition begins with the heptathlon on Thursday, in which Elizabeth Locklier, Riley Schwietz and Alleah Stigarll will compete. Some competitors to look for on the women's side include Corina Wieser-Cox in the discus throw, aiming to come away with a victory and improve her regional ranking in the event. Helga Volgyi will come into this meet also looking to improve her current mark and improve her ranking. Tiarra Bailey will be featured in this weekend's 800-meter run.
For the men, Zach Douglas, current Sun Belt leader in both the shot put and discus throw, will compete in both events and will look to take home major points for the Trojans. The high jump will highlight Titus Sizemore, who is competing for another win at this venue, while Myles Charley takes on the horizontal jumps in the triple and long jump events.
