SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Troy women's basketball team is looking to rebound after a disappointing 78-72 loss to UT Arlington on Thursday as the Trojans take on Texas State on Strahan Coliseum at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Caitlyn Ramirez turned in her 11^th consecutive game with 12 or more points; she finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. ArJae' Saunders and Claresa Banks tied with Ramirez for the team-high with 14 points each. Troy (18-8, 11-4 Sun Belt) trailed for all but five minutes of the game and couldn't overcome UT Arlington's late run of five consecutive field goal conversions.

Texas State (15-11, 10-5) knocked off South Alabama, 55-39, behind five 3-pointers from sophomore guard Toshua Leavitt, who has made five or more 3-pointers in three consecutive games. The Bobcats have won five of their last six games.
