TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team looks to bounce back following a loss at No. 11 Tennessee with a 2 p.m. Saturday showdown against Montevallo.
While Troy and Montevallo have faced off 30 times in the past, the programs have not met since 1992. The Trojans hold a 16-14 advantage in the series while the Falcons have claimed the last six meetings.
The Trojans (4-2) look to rebound after a defeat at No. 11 Tennessee. Troy shot just 29 percent in the game, but return to Trojan Arena where the team is shooting 44.2 percent on the year. Amanda Mendoza continues to lead the team offensively averaging 13.4 points per game, while Kayla Robinson has been the team's leading facilitator with 20 assists.
