Women’s Tennis Completes Day One of UNF Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Troy women's tennis team wrapped up opening day of the UNF Invite on Friday. Six players competed in singles matches while three doubles teams represented Troy.
In singles play, Troy faced host school UNF. Nancy Karaky picked up a 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 win while Alicia Rodriguez beat her opponent 6-1, 6-3.
On the doubles courts, Luisa Ferrauti and Hannah Seizer got an 8-7 (4-0) win against Flagler College. Karaky and Rodriguez also defeated a duo representing Flagler College 8-7. A forfeit from Barry University handed a win to Hannah Seizer and Luisa Ferrauti for the day.
Matches will resume on Saturday with doubles play beginning at 8 a.m. and singles matches at 9:30 a.m.
