Quotable:
"Our women put together a well executed race and we believed in ourselves," head coach Elliott Blount said. "This weekend gave us a glimpse of what's possible when firing on all cylinders. We'll have to continue to progress in practice. With only one meet remaining before Sun Belt competition, it's important to stay the course and keep grinding.
With the men's team, we went to the meet thing with everyone needing to finish in order to score as a team, so it heightened the atmosphere for us. It was nice to see them respond well as a unit. We are still putting together the pieces and look to have everyone fit for competition racing at home in Dothan in a couple of weeks."
