DOTHAN, Alabama – The Trojans will race in their final regular season meet of the season Saturday at home in Dothan, Ala. with the Doc Anderson Wiregrass Invitational.
It will be the final regular season meet for one runner on the men's side and multiple for the women. Tim Bulger, who has been one of the most consistent runners in the past four years, will be the only senior male racing for the last time this weekend.
The girls will send off a few more runners as Katrina and Kristina Bokenfohr, Rae Leach, Samantha Smith and Keaton Wallace will all be putting the cleats on for the last time in the regular season.
NOTEWORTHY
• Katrina Bokenfohr and Smith have competed in every race this season. Leach, Wallace and Bulger have all competed in three meets on the year.
• The men's side will lean on sophomores Sawyer Sprung and Daniel Glick to capture the home title after the two were the best finishers in the last meet, the JSU Foothills Inviational, at ninth and 11th place, respectively.
• The JSU Foothills Invitational saw 10 of 12 runners set a season-best time, including every member of the women's team.
