Troy Women’s Tennis Falls to ULM

FT. WALTON BEACH, Florida – After playing at home on Saturday, the Troy women's tennis team traveled south to the Ft. Walton Beach Tennis Center on Sunday and dropped a Sun Belt match to ULM, 4-1.
Troy (6-5, 1-1) saw its four-match winning streak snapped as ULM (5-4, 1-0) won its first Sun Belt match of the season. The Trojans got a doubles win from Trang Huynh and Anja Cosovic at No. 1, 8-2, but ULM won at No. 2 and No. 3 to take the opening point.
The Warhawks took a 2-0 lead after Troy's Anja Cosovic was forced to retire in the first set at No. 3 singles. Huynh then put Troy on the board as she cruised past Amy Olivier at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
ULM, however, got straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 6 to clinch the match. Complete results are below.
The Trojans return to the court on Tuesday when they take on Mercer at the Ft. Walton Beach Tennis Center at 10 a.m.
