Trojan Tour ’14 Kicks Off Thursday Night in Troy

TROY, Ala. – Trojan Tour '14 kicks off its trek across the Southeast Thursday in the Stadium Club of Veterans Memorial Stadium at 5:30 p.m. Trojan Tour '14 will feature 11 stops over six days in three states with featured guests Athletic Director John Hartwell, football head coach Larry Blakeney, baseball head coach Bobby Pierce, men's basketball head coach Phil Cunningham and women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby.
"We are excited to kickoff Trojan Tour in our backyard tomorrow night," Hartwell said. "It's going to be a local Troy crowd and will be a great chance for them to interact with our coaching staff and meet our new softball head coach Beth Mullins. Troy was our final stop on last year's Trojan Tour and should be a great launching pad for this year's event. We are also looking forward to next week when we get to visit with Troy fans across the state of Alabama, in the Atlanta & Columbus areas and along the Florida Panhandle."
Admission to the dinner events is $20 while the lunch events will be $10. All attendees will receive either dinner or lunch and a Troy gift pack. Fans can reserve their spot by contacting Hannah Mason at masonh@troy.edu; or register at the door.
Each of the tour stops will allow fans to interact with Trojan head coaches and administrators, in addition to hearing the latest about Troy Athletics, give-a-ways, autographs and more. Fans will also have the ability to purchase season tickets for Troy's 2014 football season at each stop.
